Tamar Security has developed a range of unique, highly advanced explosive simulants specifically for training purposes. These closely simulate the actual explosives, accessories and related items, enabling to optimize training efficiency. The various items allow trainees to get a feel of the actual items, and also to train in detection via hand search or a variety of detection technologies.

Explosive Simulants
Tamar Security's explosive simulants comprise precise reproductions of a variety of explosive materials in form, color, texture and weight. These simulants are the product of numerous years of operational experience, combined with extensive research and testing carried out in collaboration with Tamar Laboratories. They constitute extremely effective training aids used for training in hand search techniques as well as in the use of all X-ray, EDS (Explosive Detection Systems), TDS (Trace Detection Systems) and sniffer models. Simulants compatible with additional detection technologies, such as millimeter wave and X-ray diffraction, are also developed in-house and available.
Accessories
Tamar Security has developed various accessories with the aim of further enhancing training effectiveness. These include close reproductions of items that are utilized in conjunction with explosives, such as a variety of detonators and detonation cords, as well as pipe bombs, suicide bomber belts and hand grenades. The accessories are similar to the real items in form, touch and reaction to X-ray detection technologies. All the accessories may be customized to meet specific needs – as defined by the client, or as analyzed by Tamar Explosives' experts, who are knowledgeable and experienced in security search techniques and procedures.
Training Kits
